NSW Junior 4's
On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July NSW Junior Darts held their
Mixed Fours Championships at the Central Coast Leagues Club, Gosford.
The weekend went off with great success with congratulations going out to
Hannah Williams and David Clegg for the smooth running of the
draw sheets; when this section runs smoothly, that means the weekend
will pretty much run smoothly also. Well Done!
There were about 80 children in attendance from
Newcastle, Mudgee, Moree, Orange, Mittagong, Mt Druitt,
St Marys and Ulladulla (South Coast).

There was a presentation made to Greg and Sue Clegg on Sunday 18 July
during the medal ceremony for the NSW Junior State 4's.
Greg and Sue were presented with their Life Membership badges; Greg was also presented with
a plaque of appreciation for all the work he has done with the NSW Junior Darts over the past
10 years. Greg is no longer the Director of the juniors section due to him taking on another
position in the senior section of NSW darts.
Greg and Sue, on behalf of the children of NSW Junior Darts, I would like to wish you every success
in your new venture and do hope that you remain involved with the juniors in the years to come.
As happens in many sports, when our children are too old for juniors the parents dwindle away and,
as this is your youngest child's last year in the juniors, I do hope you will stick around; your knowledge
and ability in this sport is extraordinary and, as we have seen over the years, you are there for every
child no matter where they are from or what their ability is. I do hope that there are many children in future
years that benefit from your input into this sport, I know that mine have and I thank you from the bottom of
my heart for all you have done for my children and all you have done for Mark and me.
Thank you
Jenny Munro.
